Analysis of Proton vs. Photon Radiotherapy in Oligodendroglioma and Assessment of Cognitive Health
Trial summary: APPROACH is phase III, multi-centre, randomised trial which aims to compare proton beam therapy (PBT) with photon radiotherapy to assess whether there are early (2 years post RT) and long-term (5 years post-RT) signals of neurocognitive benefit with PBT compared to photon RT in adult patients with oligodendroglioma. 246 patients will be recruited from UK sites.
